Richard's Analysis on Ben Hur

After reading Richard's analysis, I feel that his analysis on Ben Hur (1926) was fair and that I agreed with it for the most part. I like Felicity, would've like Richard's to elaborate more on why Jesus was only represented by a hand and foot and if the purpose of that was to let the audience use their own image of Jesus because the film wanted to not offend as many viewers. I also wished Richard hadn't talked about budgeting as much and focused more on the reception and of the audience not only in America but all around the world. Because I feel like maybe people from other countries would have different perspectives. I also wanted to learn more about the history within the film and the history that was going on as the film was being made and what impacted the filming, besides Mussolini being the dictator and being in control at the time.
